As outsiders, many members of the queer community construct their own identity according to their deepest fantasies and fears. An exaggerated self; free from any mainstream concept of beauty. This series looks at transformative identities; real or imagined, amplified personalities that challenge our perceptions of gender and sexuality, perhaps even species. Inspired by the alchemical individuals photographed, we create narratives based on what we imagine their inner world to be.
Every one of us possesses the power of imagination to transcend reality, which begs the question; why wait for Heaven to experience glamour and beauty?
